Making sure your X2 Pro is street-ready: A guide to city and off-road modes
Share
If you're the proud owner of an X2 Pro electric scooter, you might notice its resemblance to a motorcycle. This sleek design can sometimes lead to confusion, making you think it's a powerful, off-road-only vehicle. However, we specifically designed the X2 Pro with City Mode and Off-Road Mode to keep it perfectly suited for urban environments without sacrificing the thrill of off-road adventures.
Why two modes?
City Mode is enabled by default when you launch the X2 Pro, ensuring the scooter is ready for safe use on public roads from the start. In City Mode, the scooter's speed is limited to 45 km/h and the motor's power is locked at 750W, while the scooter remains pedal-powered. This way, City Mode offers balanced performance suitable for urban commuting.
Having two modes is essential to give you flexibility for both urban commuting and off-road exploration. By default, City Mode keeps the motorcycle within safe parameters for use on public roads, so you can ride with peace of mind and confidence.
How to use off-road mode responsibly
Off-Road Mode is where the real fun begins. This mode unlocks the bike's full potential, allowing it to reach speeds of up to 80 km/h, perfect for off-road tracks, open fields, or any terrain far from the city. However, we urge all users to switch to Off-Road Mode only in suitable areas where such speeds are safe and permitted.
Switching between City Mode and Off-Road Mode is simple and takes only a minute. We designed the process to be quick and easy, so you can adapt to your surroundings as needed. That said, please always use City Mode when driving in public areas to avoid any issues.
The importance of responsible driving
We cannot overemphasize the importance of responsible driving. While the X2 Pro boasts impressive off-road capabilities, when driving in cities or other regulated areas, City Mode is the safe option. Improper use of Off-Road Mode in urban environments could not only cause problems but also pose risks to your safety and the safety of others.
Conclusion
The X2 Pro's dual-mode functionality gives you the best of both worlds: safe urban commuting and exhilarating off-road adventures. With just a minute to switch modes, you have the flexibility to enjoy your motorcycle to the fullest. Just remember to ride responsibly for a safe and hassle-free experience.
